Dr. Christoper Ozimek
Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Dr. Ozimek completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees from East Carolina University. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of South Carolina in 2005. He returned to Greenville and joined Children’s Health Services and shortly after became Partner. He is married and has three wonderful children. An avid ECU fan, he is also involved with little league baseball, and supports local athletics. In his free time he enjoys running and playing ice hockey.
Dr. Carter Tate Holbrook
MD, FAAP/ Behavioral Health Provider
A native of North Carolina, Dr. Holbrook has been a resident of Greenville since 1979. Upon completion of his residency, he served as a Director of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (1979-1994) at East Carolina University. He also held the notable rank of Professor within the School of Medicine at ECU. Since 1995, he has been practicing general pediatrics, and in 1998 he founded Children’s Health Services, PA. Dr. Holbrook is a thorough, established pediatrician with comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of health & medical conditions and is committed to providing only the best care and advice for his patients. Married with two grown children, he enjoys volunteering with many local organizations, gardening, and of course, ECU sports. GO PIRATES!!
Dr. Carrie Waller
MD, MS, FAAP
Having completed medical school at Duke University, with a Master of Science in Nutrition and UNC with pediatric residency at ECU, Dr. Waller worked at Washington Pediatrics prior to joining CHS in 2008. She has a special interest in educating youth on healthy living and proper nutrition to prevent and treat childhood obesity, and has run family-centered weight reduction clinics within private practice since 2006. She is married and has a beautiful daughter. As a doctor and a mother herself, she is a compassionate, warm-hearted and intelligent physician that you can trust. Her personal interests outside of work include running, horseback riding and painting.
Dr. Erin L. Wooten
Raised in Oklahoma, Dr. Wooten completed her undergrad at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine in 2002 then completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. She moved to North Carolina in 2009, practicing in Raleigh before moving to Greenville in 2013. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her family – especially her two boys.
Dr. Rajni Marco
Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Marco completed her undergraduate studies at Boston College before attaining her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean. She moved to Greenville in 2013 and completed her pediatric residency at ECU. She served an additional year at ECU as Chief Resident and Clinical Faculty before joining Children’s Health Services in 2017. She is a board certified Pediatrician who is privileged to provide the finest care to children and adolescents on a daily basis. Dr. Marco is married to her medical school sweetheart, and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, baking and dancing.
Mrs. Julie Daniel-Yount
Ms. Daniel-Yount was raised in Wilson, NC and graduated from Barton College in 1997 with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She completed her Physician Assistant education at East Carolina University and received a Master of Health Sciences degree from Duke University in 1999. Julie worked in developmental pediatrics with the Children’s Developmental Services Agency at ECU Pediatrics for 6 years prior to joining the ECU Physician Assistant Program faculty in 2005. She has been working in general pediatrics since 2006. Julie has worked part time with Children’s Health Services since 2008 and joined the practice full time in 2015. She is married with 2 daughters and enjoys running, paddle boarding, traveling, and reading. She loves coaching youth soccer and spending time with family, friends, and Phi Mu sorority sisters.
MSN, FNP, IBCLC, CLS
Upon Graduation, Ivy worked in the Cardiac Intermediate Unit, Newborn Nursery, as well as the Convalescent Nursery at Vidant Medical Center. After joining the CHS team in 2007, she continued to work in the Convalescent Nursery because of her passion for newborn care. She is a certified lactation specialist and teaches Baby Care Basics as well as Infant CPR classes at CHS. In graduate school, she was awarded the Paul Ambrose Scholar and continues to serve as a Scholarship evaluator. Additionally, she is a board member for the Greenville Homeless Shelter free clinic as well as a volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse and the Carolina Pregnancy Center. With a strong interest in serving others at home and abroad, she has a passion for medical missions, and a valuable member of our team.
